I would like to introduce myself. I’m Dr. David Boyden, the tall guy in the picture. I’ve been a chiropractor in active practice since 1994 and I still love what I do. I would like to take this opportunity to share some information about my family, myself and chiropractic.

I’m one of the lucky ones. My father is a chiropractor. So as you may have guessed I’ve been under Chiropractic care my whole life. My aunt was the first chiropractor in the family. She was just a teenager, growing up on a farm in Conway Massachusetts, when my grandfather became ill with severe pneumonia. The family chiropractor came to the farmhouse and adjusted him that night and by the following morning his fever broke and his lungs were clearing. He was back working in the barn a few days later. My aunt was so impressed by this event that when she was old enough she left the farm and went to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa.

Ten years later my father would leave the farm and follow in her footsteps. While my father was still a student my older brother contracted whooping cough. My father brought him to a local doctor of chiropractic and he received his first adjustment. His symptoms improved within an hour of the adjustment and he recovered shortly there after.
